Clear terms, no surprises

• “We”, “us”, “our” – Optima Distillery S.R.L., operator of the Zemo’s brand
• “You”, “visitor”, “customer” – anyone who uses the site or buys our products
• “Consumer” – a natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession
• “Business customer” – a company, sole trader, restaurant, shop or distributor buying for its business
• “Site” – zemos.ro and all its sub-pages, in Romanian and English
• “Products” – Zemo’s juices and any other product presented on the site

The site presents the fruits, the juices, the press at Altringen and our editorial journal. You can write to us through the contact form for information, a quote, distribution enquiries or a visit.

We do our best to keep information accurate and current, but photographs, descriptions and product availability may change without notice. Fruits marked “coming soon” are not available for sale.

Zemo’s juices are food products. Before any separate purchase contract, we provide the applicable product information, including ingredients, allergens, quantity, nutritional values and storage conditions. The label identifies the actual product, batch and best-before date; referring to the label does not replace the information due before a purchase.

• Apple and aronia juices are currently available; twelve more juices are in development.
• Product descriptions do not constitute medical or nutritional advice.
• After opening, follow the storage instructions on the label.

The contact form is a request for information or a quote. Sending it does not conclude a purchase contract, place a binding order or create a payment obligation. An automatic acknowledgement confirms neither a contract nor an order.

If you wish to buy, the terms of a separate contract are communicated before you accept it. Before that contract is concluded, you receive:

• The product characteristics and applicable food information, quantity and confirmed availability
• The total price, including applicable taxes, and transport, delivery or collection costs
• Payment and invoicing arrangements, delivery or collection terms and timing
• Applicable information on withdrawal, returns, complaints and conformity, including any product-specific legal exceptions only where established

These pages do not establish a general return policy or classify all juices as exempt from withdrawal. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable to any separate distance contract.

• The name Zemo’s, the logo, the texts, the photographs and the Harvest journal are the property of Optima Distillery S.R.L. or used under licence
• You may quote short excerpts with attribution; republishing texts or photographs in full requires our written consent
• Third-party materials (fonts, icons) follow their own licences

For consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity under Romanian GEO No 140/2021 applies. Food products are delivered with a visible best-before date on the label; for any non-conformity, write to us as soon as possible, with photographs and the batch number.

Our liability is limited to the value of the products concerned, to the extent permitted by law and without excluding consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract. The limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to liability for defective products under Romanian Law No 240/2004.

We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the site or for the content of external sites we link to.

If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled a problem, you can contact us for an amicable solution or turn to the Romanian consumer authority ANPC and the official alternative dispute resolution platform SAL at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro, under the legal conditions. The European ODR platform has been discontinued and is no longer available.

By using zemos.ro, you agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorised access to the site, server or any backend system
• Scrape, copy or republish our content without permission
• Use the site to distribute malware or phishing content
• Submit false or misleading information through the form
• Use automated bots without our written consent

These terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU regulations. Disputes are settled by the competent courts under the law. Nothing here derogates from mandatory rules on court jurisdiction and consumer protection.
