Apple

The apple is where we begin: patient, picked in late autumn, when the hills of Banat and Transylvania are left bare of fruit. A clean flavour, with a naturally cloudy appearance, exactly as it leaves the press.

Apples from the orchards of Banat and Transylvania, pressed whole. Cloudy, because we do not clarify it: as it leaves the press, so it goes into the box. 100% fruit.

The apple: the fruit that travelled furthest

The ancestor of the domestic apple still grows wild in the Tian Shan mountains of Kazakhstan; the city of Almaty takes its name from it. From there, along the caravan roads, the apple reached every garden in Europe and every story: the apple of discord, the golden apples of the Hesperides, the apple in the Romanian tale of Prâslea the Brave. Cézanne said he wanted to astonish Paris with an apple. We only want to press it properly.
